How’s your walk into the dark days of winter starting for you? It’s no secret that when days get shorter, it can be a difficult transition for many people. December 21 is not far away and the light begins to shine a little more each day.
Did you know?
- Staying connected to others and committed to a schedule helps!
- If you need to be home, try to move, meditate or stock up on your favourite comedies.
- Most YMCA’s are free for indoor track walks.
- Canada’s new suicide crisis helpline is OPEN – People across Canada can call and text 9-8-8, giving people experiencing thoughts of suicide, or people worried about someone else, an accessible and easy number to call when they need urgent help.
And always, I am open to walks/talks (even in the snow) and always want to know what you are up to. Who’s out there?
